Responsibilities

    Prepare daily/monthly/quarterlyreporting on funding, liquidity, capital and market risk for regulatory (i.e. RBNZand CBRC) purposes

    Prepare daily reporting on funding,liquidity, capital and market risk for management purposes

    Complete daily cash flow forecasting/modellingand advise on daily investment for liquidity management purposes

    Analyse the banks funding, liquidityand market risk positions for risk management purposes

    Preparation of monthly Asset andLiability Committee (ALCO) reporting

    Conduct modelling, monitor, forecast,analyse and report on compliance with RBNZ regulatory requirements

    Support and maintain the daily funds transferpricing (FTP) processing

    Support and maintain the depositpricing model

    Update/maintain the debt issuanceprogramme documentation (i.e. MTN, RCD) and assist with execution of the annualfunding plan

    Assist with development and ongoingmaintenance of risk management documentation (i.e. ISDA)

    Communicate market relevant commentary(e.g. regulatory change, key economic data, debt issuance sensitive information)to management

    Provide internal advice on riskmanagement strategies, financial markets and internal pricing methodologies

    Support the preparation and analysisof Treasury related budgeting and performance reporting

    Look for improvements in processes,systems and frameworks to generate team efficiencies

    Head Office reporting and communication

Qualifications and Experiences

    A Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting /economics /maths /statistics or higher degree.

    Sufficient experience in modelling/preparingfinancial forecasts and cash flow analyses

    Experience in banking financialrisk management

    Experience in building complexfinancial models to evaluate various financial plans

    Experience in presenting and preparingproposals to recommend solutions and new products/services

    Experience in treasury dealinga plus

    Bi-lingual (English/Chinese) aplus

    Advanced modelling skills

    Advanced analytical skill withcommercial acumen

    Advanced MS Office skill (Word,Excel, PowerPoint Access etc.)

    Exposure to Bloomberg/Reuters aplus

    Able to break down problems intomeaningful parts and come to rational and well-thought out conclusions

    Attention to detail and accuracy.

    Interested in process improvement.

    Willing to adapt quickly to quickchanges in direction.
